Service Initiatives

Engage with the Flourishing Enterprise Innovation Toolkit

The Flourishing Enterprise Innovation Toolkit is designed to be applicable and useful to all types of enterprises (for-profits, not-for-profits, co-ops, benefit corporations, government agencies, etc.) and all stages of development (start-up to established enterprise). To apply the toolkit specifically to certain types and stages of organizations, we have two service initiatives underway with more in the works.

Better My Business: Through learning networks, workshops and direct consulting services we work with leaders of established small and medium sized enterprises to apply frameworks, methods and tools in order to gain the social, environmental and economic innovation and risk reduction benefits of the flourishing approach.

Lean for Flourishing Startups Based on our integrated Flourishing Entrepreneurship competency model, Lean for Flourishing works with entrepreneurial encouragers (accelerators, incubators, co-working spaces, corporate innovation centres etc.) to enable them to innovate they way they help entrepreneurs be innovative and achieve their goals.

Through the Flourishing Enterprise Innovation Toolkit Project, Lean 4 Flourishing, Better My Business, Core Team Member Workshops and our global network of First Explorers there are more and more ways to gain training and hands-on experience using the Flourishing Enterprise Innovation Toolkit.

The toolkit has undergone three years of testing and refinement through 70+ talks, workshops and labs in 9 countries with over 1600 participants. These have included trainings funded by the Ontario Centres of Excellence, workshops funded by EIT-Climate-KIC, the pan-European Climate Change adaptation and mitigation program and a 6 month Business Model Accelerator Program though Lean 4 Flourishing and the Centre for Social Innovation.

Most recently, the team just completed a tour of workshops and speaking engagements in multiple countries in Europe with Halmstad University, the University of Hamburg, Climate KIC and the New Business Models Conference.
