June 1, 2017 – Embracing the normative in business modelling: What does a successful new business model need to describe?
If we choose to define success – a normative idea – for us individually, for our families, communities, enterprises, government, societies and for our planet – without building directly and explicitly on what the science says, we are choosing to harm ourselves, future generations and all other life. But what does business model need to include if it is to describe a socially, environmentally, and economically successful enterprise based on the currently available transdisciplinary science?

June 1, 2017 – How do we train entrepreneurs to successfully start flourishing enterprises – socially, environmentally, economically?

A competency model for Flourishing Entrepreneurs, currently under-development, will be discussed, along with flourishing enterprise design principles (based on the Future-Fit Business Benchmark / TNS System Conditions), and the Lean4Flourishing Startup method (based on Backcasting), as well as a brief introduction to a major upgrade to the business modelling tool used in the method: the Flourishing Business Canvas.
